The above families are ancestors of mine dated back to 1794.
Adele Crawford (nee Le Noury) was my great aunt. There are certainly a number of other relatives in the family tree.

My great grandmother was a Le Prevost, Laura Adelina, born in 1871 in Jersey and one of 10 children. Her father was Thomas Le Prevost born 1828 in Castel, Guernsey. I have his line back another six generations to Job Le Prevost who married Marguerite Brouard in 1690, thanks to Alex Glendinning of the CIFHS. However, the names that connect with my line do not match any of your other names. My Le Prevosts married into the Battam, de la Mare, Noel, Jehan, Allaire and Brouard families but, of course, siblings may have married into your families. If you email me about your specific Le Prevost antecedents, I could see if they marry with the information I have and then pass it on to you.

Elizabeth Greef

Hi Margaret,
Thanks for the response.
There does appear to be some connection here.
Jean Torode of St. Saviours had a daughter Betsey Torode who married Thomas Lenoury of St.Saviours, at St.Saviours Church, 18 September 1845. There were several children of this marriage: John - 1849, Betsey - 1850, Abraham - 1861, Mary - 1864, and Louisa - 1865.
Let me know if there is a definite connect.

Sincerely
John

Sorry for the delay re your message but I was holidaying down in the sunny south of Florida for the Winter.
Louise did have a brother Abraham, born 1861, as well as the following: John,1849, Betsey,1850,Mary,1864, and Louise,1865.
Their parent's were Thomas Le Noury, born 1827 and Betsey Torode who were married at St. Saviours, Sept. 18, 1845. Thomas died Jan 11, 1866, at 39 years of age.
Thomas's parents were John Le Noury and Marguerite Robin. John(Jean) was born June 9, 1795. He married Marguerite(1801) at St. Sampson's in 1826.
John's (Jean) parents were John(Jean) Le Noury and Elizabeth Queripel married at Forest Church Aug. 3, 1794.
At this point I have not researched any further back.
I forgot to mention Thomas Le Noury Jr. who was born Dec. 31, 1845, who was also a brother to Louise and that brings me forward to the present in my direct lienage.Thomas was my great grandfather who married Sophie Bougourd in 1973.
If you require more info, get back to me.
The information above has been verified by research conducted by Priaulx Library, Candie Road, St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands, GY1 1UG. I have photo copies of official records verifying the same.
Good Luck. I won't be back online until mid April as I am returning to the warm of South Florida. I would be delighted to hear from you at that time.

Sincerely,

John Le Noury IV

Just wondering if there's any connection. My father's,
mother's, mother's father was Henry Kaines Torode
who married Sarah in 1854 at St Peter's Church, St Peter Port, Guernsey before emigrating to Australia.
I haven't managed to trace his parents or siblings... yet!
