Many of my ancestors are from the Grantsville area. Looking for family stories and photos. My great great grandfather was Richard E. Butler married to Emily Millward. My other great great grandfather was Thomas Henry Clark married to Margaret Selina Quirk. If anyone knows of a book on early Grantsville settlers or have any ideas where I can find stories on these families I would so appreciate it.

Thank you for your reply. I have been able to gather some information since I posted my message. I am still trying to fill in holes in the family tree. I would be interested in exchanging information.

Thomas Henry Clark Jr. is my great great grandfather. I would love to hear about what you know about him. I just recently visited with a descendant of Hannah Maria Clark Parkinson. She gave me some old copies of the Clark newsletter. Would love to hear from you. Mellany (Fulton) Barfuss

I've been doing research and writting about Thomas Henry Clark Sr. for the past couple of years so I wouldn't know where to start. If you have any thing specific I could send it to you. My sister has been putting some Clark stuff including most the Clark News on our family website, I can send you that site also.

I would love to check out the family web-site. I have 2 scrapbooks of my grandma's, they have pictures dated back to 1926, there are a few that go back further than that. If there are any names you would like me to look for, I would be happy to do that. My grandma is Marion Clark, daughter of James E. Clark and Annie Josephine Johnson.

I haven't heard of any family reunions lately. I went to a reunion in Grantsville this last September for the Burton Davis Brown and Florence Clark family. It was awesome! I would love to hear about your trip!! How exciting! I love these Clark newsletters, they have a lot of information in them. I have a few more than I used to. I visited with a lady who is related through Hannah Clark Parkinson. She lives just a few miles away from me, she gave me a few copies that she had. I would love to share what I have. Each newletter has an autobiography of someone in the family, it talks about past family reunions, etc. There is at least one copy that has a few birth dates, and other information. I have some pictures I would love to share with you. I'm so glad you contacted me. Mellany Fulton Barfuss

I would like to see issues of Clark newsletter
