Hi well, you don't know me but Iam also a Bahr
and I also live in Wisconsin. I am really interested
in my family's ancestry. If you could, I would
strongly appriciate if you could send me any pictures
you have of our family members or anything having to
do with the Bahr's. I am only 13 years old, but I ahve a
Grandpa (Harold Bahr) who might know a little about
the Bahr's history and everything else. I will
get back to you as soon as possible if he knows
any thing about our history.

I am sorry, I have alot on the Bahr's and obituaries also, but not for Wilhelmina or Anna Bahr, I have a Anna Kneifl Bahr but but nothing for a Wilhelmina, I have just began to start on this family so I will tell you who I am looking for and maybe we can help each other.......this is my husband's line and it starts with Peter Bahr and Margaret Bruckhaus, there son was Gaberial Bahr and Margaret Clements, then their son was George Bahr who married Anna Kneifl first and she died from cancer his second wife was Mary Rose Novacek, this is the line I am working on. Any information you may have on them would be greatly appreciated, sorry I could not help you.

Sorry, I don't find any Wilhelmina or Anna Bahr in my line.
My line, George Bahr and his wife Margarete came from Baden, Germany in 1854 and settled in Ellenville, Ulster Co., NY with their children, where they worked on the Delaware and Hudson Canal. Their children, George, Jacob, Frederick and Daniel relocated in Brooklyn, NY around 1880. Then settled in the Bronx. They were mainly in the trucking industry until the 1930's. In the 1920-21 NYC Directory my g-grandfather, Frederick H. Bahr, was listed as Pres. of the Harlem River Truckmen, & Riggers, Inc.
Wish I could be more help to you. Good luck in your search!
