LESPERADE Bill maybe William maybe from New Zealand Lower Hutt

Surnames: LESPERADE
I am madly trying to find some link to Bill. A bullock driver in the late 1800 and early 1900's.
I have just found, becasue of this web site, an unknown Aunty given away to friends during the Australian depression. (plus her 27 family members)
We have not been able to find, to date, any link to this family name other than it was used to avoid identification in some places in the world. Canada and USA.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Greg,
I am descended from your Stan Driver's brother Harold.
I've been doing a little digging with the Lesperade family, and have come up with a marriage for William LESPERADE and Sarah Alice ELLINGTON in Wilcannia, NSW in 1892.

I have Sarah, using the name Alice (which she does also in one of the births of her children) dying in SA in 1902 (which is in childbirth). William Lesperade appears in the NSW Country Directories in 1930 and 1936 and 1937 in Darling, Milparinka and is also listed in the Outback NSW Pioneers of Corner Country.
I haven't found his death yet.
Would be happy to chat with you by email.
