My mother Rita Dacey is the youngest of three daughters of Eugene and Rita Dacey. I don't remember what his father's name was, but I do know that my grandfather had a lot of brothers and sisters and they lived in Nutley, New Jersey. If anyone has any info on these dacey's e-mail me and let me know. Thanks, Bill Francavilla

I visited the Somme battlefield in France this fall. At the Thiepval monument, there were three Dacey's mentioned. All from England.
I have come to belive that Dacey is an English name, not Irish in origin.
Regards,
Bill Dacey
