My great grandmother was Anna Elisabeth Lebsack, b: 1883 in Frank Russia. Her older brother was Conrad Lebsack. He immigrated to the US earlier than she did and settled near Culbertson NE. My grandfather remembers his uncle Conrad, and if you have specific questions, perhaps let me ask him what he remembers. I would wonder if your Katharina Elisabeth may have been my great grandmother's grandmother? Perhaps your Conrad Amen was our Conrad's father??

I would like to stay in touch as we both research. Please feel free to contact me anytime.

Thanks, kris

my husband's g grandmother was Anna Maria Lebsack, born in 1879 in Frank, Russia. She married a Thaut and settled in Kolb, Russia, and emigrated in 1902 from Kolb, ending up in Hastings, Nebraska. Any connection to your Lebsacks? Any information on your Lebsacks in Frank is appreciated, as I have nothing on her family at all.

I have in my records three Anna Maria Löbsacks (changed to either Libsack or Lebsack in America) that were all born in 1879.
1. daughter of Conrad and Anna Maria Bernhardt, younger sister of Conrad - I believe this is the one you have just mentioned. She was married to Johann Georg Eisenach.
2. daughter of Johannes (brother of Conrad above) and Anna Margaretha Lahser - I do not have a spouse for her.
3. daughter of Jacob and Anna Margaretha Heimbuchner. I do not have a spouse for her.

I have extensive records of the Löbsack's in Frank going back to Johannes (b. 1767) and Elisabeth who emigrated to Russia from Germany. I would be happy to share. My husband's family settled in western Nebraska.

Thanks for the information. I do know who her spouse was. She married Johann "Peter" Thaut from Kolb, where they lived until 1902 or so when they emigrated. Perhaps the Anna Marie you have with no spouse is her?

I can't see where they connect, though my guess is they are related somehow. But I have no information on her family. My Anna Marie Lebsack was born in 1879, married Johann Peter Thaut, and settled in Hastings, Nebraska. They had 7 children,Carl, Marie, Rinehold, Esther, Elsie, Delma and Samuel. that's all I have for now.
