My great grandfather was Posey Whitten Seago. He was a Civil War Verteran, and is buried here at Waco (actually the Bosqueville Cemetery ) just north of Waco. His son, James Jefferson Seago was my grandfather, and my father was Nelson Dwight Seago. There are many Seago relative in this area and we would be happy to hear from more of the family. James Jefferson had 8

Eda Seago Thompson
children: Gladys Seago Crawford
Eugene Seago
Dellis Seago
Alleyne Seago Pittman
Vernon Seago (struck and killed by
lightening at 20 yrs.)
Nelson Dwight Seago
Louise Seago Duncan

The family lived in and around the Waco area most of the time, but did live in West Texas near Clarendon, Tx. for a while.

Please write with any questions or new information. Thanks Bobbie Seago Moore

Desiree, I have lost your email or it has changed. Please contact me. We had a Seago reunion in China Spring,Tx last summer where Posey lived and had land and near where he was buried. I believe I have a picture of Lilly Seago's grave and also that of a sister, Callie Seago Harris. I hope to hear back from you.

Is anyone familiar with Roddy Nelson Seago and his wife Lee Ellen Bell? This couple died relatively young and are buried in Clarendon, TX. Their children would be my 4th cousins. Thanks.

Roddy Seago and his wife are buried in Clarendon. Roddy's father was Nelson Seago who is also buried there I believe.
Roddy's grandfather was James Jefferson Seago, married to Lura Smith, his great grandfather, Posey Whitten Irving Seago married to Seprianna Hanes.

Roddy would have been my first cousin.

My relative is Roddy's wife, who is the daughter of Robert Lee Bell and Mary Josephine "Jo" Thigpen. Roddy and Lee Ellen (Bell) Seago had a daughter. Do you know her name? Do you know anything about her? I descend from the Thigpens who have been in America for a very long time.
