This name popped up in the early 1800 in williamsburg county South Carollina. If anyone has any information please help me. At this time there is less than 50 of us.

I have failed to find the meaning of your surname, BYRDIC. It does not occur in half a dozen surname dictionaries.

The closest I can come is byrdzić, a Polish verb meaning "muddle."
