In looking at one of my ancestors immigration records, it says Nationality: Venezuela, Race: Apa Amer., Country: Can't read it (I think it says D.W.I) Town: Curacao. What does Apa Amer stand for? I tried googling it several different ways and all i got was American Psychololical Association.

Skuridat,

Can you let us know the Name of the Ship, the date of arrival and the passenger's name?

Another set of eyes may help

It would appear to be a typo.

Most likely it was meant to be Spa -- meaning Spanish American.

Look up in that same column and you will see Spa. Amer, which would be Spanish American.

D.W.I = Dutch West Indes

Country Venez. = Venezueala
