My grandfather John Nasser (although I do not believe he had that name when he came to the usa. According to his passport application from a return trip he made to go home in 1905. He claims he came to the USA from Zahaly, Turkey on or about the 1st day of April, 1891 from Havre, France. Then around April 1905 the family, John, Suzanne or Susie, Isabelle and Victoria when back home to visit for 6 months,I know they went because I found the shipping record when they came back to the USA in September, 1905. I just can't find how they got there. Any ideas would be helpful

There are no passenger manifests for people leaving the US.
