Hello Peter: I was wondering if you had noticed any Wyatt's listed in the Bassanio Cemetery . My Great Grand Parents are supposed to be burried their.There should be a large head stone with their names on it. ( WYATT). I would like to visit there this summer. Also My mother was born their. M.B. Thompson. So it has a special interest to me. TKS. Juliet

Yes the AGS Master Index show these 2 Wyatt's burried in the Bassano cemetery;

Christopher Columbus WYATT, 1859 - 31 Dec 1924
Cornelia A. WYATT, 1861 - 10 Jul 1942.
Both next to each other in plot 5,14,7 & 5,14,8

For further research please contact the AGS Research Services Committee of the Edmonton Branch,

And also while you are in Bassano stop in and vist with the nearby Brooks Branch who's members have recorded this Bassano cemetery.

Hi Peter;
Thank you for the info. I was in Bassano on Aug. 22/02. Found my G Grandparents headstone. Got there on the wrong day as the Liberary was closed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Maybe I will get back there some day. Juliet
