I don't know if those records would have stayed locally or if the Navy would have taken them. Here are some local contacts:

Blaine County Historical Society, PO Box 124, Hailey 83333, 208-788-1801.

Ketchum-Sun Valley Historical Society, 180 First Avenue East, Ketchem 83340.

Military Service personnel medical records transfer with the service man. They pick up the records and take to the next assignment or they are transfered. Upon discharge, these medical records go to the Military Records Center, the National Archives.

They are restricted to immediate family members:
