I'm looking for info on Henry WHITESIDE who lived in Prince Albert,SK. He and his parents who were John W and Mary Emma WHITESIDE were born in US(South Dakota??). He in 1908. At entry to Canada, they moved to Prince Albert in 1914. They appear in the 1916 Census in Prince Albert and that is my last for Henry. His mother married a BAILEY and Fred DIDYK and ended up in Lethbridge, AB. In mother's obit he was in Vancouver in 1977. He had brother, James, who died in Barkerville, BC in Oct 1946.

I have not found Henry in BC records to date.

Like to find obit and anything else to give his history.

Parents listed as John WHITESIDE and Mary SMITH. Informant is his brother Elmer WHITESIDE of Thunder Bay ON.

Hi, There may be Obituaries published - which may show names and locations of other family members
Obits May Appear in the Vancouver Sun and /or the Province Newspaper.

Vancouver Public Library - Main Branch on Georgia Street,,holds newspapers in their collection -on the 5th Floor.
I believe University of Victoria also holds newspapers - as does the Provincial Archive - there may be persons who could do lookups.
