it is him . His brother was Ernst Ferdinand Vinberg ( it is my husbands grandfather ) we just got to know who his father and mother was .

I didn't find mention of his brother in Seattle newspaper archives.

I don't find mention of Tabe in the Washington State Digital Arvhives.

never tried researching sweden, would it be impossible to get his moms obit and see if he is mentioned?

do u know the american counterpart to "tage"? (as ernst became ernest)

I don't find Tage Valentin Vinberg in the USA. I searched with Winberg, and with Nilsson (but not with Nielson/sen). I searched with Thomas and Tom as a first name (but not with Val). He could have arrived and died already between census years. Also, he might have returned to Sweden. He might be in Canada and thus harder to find.

I did not search the British Columbia genealogy archives.

I did not search the Swedish emigration database for Tage's date of emigration - could someone do that please?

This seems to be Kodiak Baptist Mission, an orphanage at Ouzinikie on Kodiak Island, Alaska, built in 1938, also called “the Fourth Mission.”

Also search variant spelling of Weinberg, Wienberg. In my own family research, every relative immigrating to the US from Norway immediately changed their first name to something more American. I found my family only because I gave some thought to how a Norwegian accent might say Wendell to a census enumerator, and looked up "Vindell" in Ancestry. Jackpot! Good luck.
