My g-grandmother, Emma Cheeves(sp?) Johnson Copeland,
was born a slave in Georgia. After they were emancipated they went to Savanna and possibly Macon. She was part Indian. Some if not most of her family went with the Native Americans in some kind of land deal.

Hello,

I have a question. My great-great- grandmother was also part Indian and her name was Patsy Cheeves/Patsy Davis. Have you found any further information about her. I am very curious to find out anything about her.

Thank you very much for your help
