I found some more info on my MacIVER/McKEEVER line.
I found Hester/Essy listed in the 1870 PA Census living in Philadelphia with the following people:
McFadden, Robt / 32/ M/ W/ Mast. Moul. N. Y./ PA/
McFadden, Elizabeth /29/ F/ W/ at home/ Ireland/
McFadden, Rich / 8/ M/ W/ at home/ PA/
McFadden, Mary / 7/ F/ W/ at home/ PA/
McFadden, Robert / 5/M/ W/ at home/ PA/
McFadden, Jane / 5/ F/ W/ at home/ PA/
McFadden, Wm H. / 1/ M/ W/ at home/ PA/
McKeever, Hen /21/ M/ W/ House Carp./ Ireland/
McKeever, Essy / 23/ F/ W/ at home/ Ireland/
It looks like Elizabeth is her sister. I found a death cert for Elizabeth MCFADDEN (1841-1913) listing her birth parents as Margaret MCFADDEN and Robert McKEEVER. The 1900 PA Census states that Elizabeth immigrated in 1853.
The 1860 PA Census shows Elizabeth McKEEVER age 21, living with, Robert MCFADDEN age 60, Jane MCFADDEN age 52, Robert MCFADDEN age 25 and Martha McKEEVER age 19. She married Robert after the 1860 Census. I wonder if he was a relative of her mother Margaret MCFADDEN. I haven't found anymore on Martha McKEEVER. I guess she might be her sister but have no proof.
Elizabeth and Robert had the following children:
Richard b. 1861
Mary A. b. 1863
Jane b. c1864
Robert b. c1864
William b. c1868
Maggie b. 1871
Mattie b. 1877
Sarah b. 1879
Henry McKEEVER (c1850-1907) appears to be Hester's brother. His death cert does not list parents names. The address on his death cert is the same one that Hester is living at. He is listed in the 1880 PA Census living in Philadelphia with a wife named Catherine (b c1851 IRE - 1904 PA) and a son Robert b. c 1878. The 1900 PA Census has Henry living in Phila with his wife S. Catherine. Have not found any more info on his son Robert.
The children of Hester and Robert PEEL are the following;
Fannie MacIver PEEL (1872-1949 PA) mar. Henry A. PERRY
Thomas PEEL (1873-1874 PA)
Maggie PEEL (1874 PA)
Robert PEEL (1876 PA) mar. Frances
Henry PEEL (1878-1879 PA)
Ida PEEL (1881-1881 PA)
William Lockard PEEL (1883 PA) mar. Alice
Joseph PEEL (1885-1886 PA)
I hope this info helps me to find someone else researching this family.
