Thomas Jonathan Jackson who married Eliza Hackworth had one daughter M.E. Jackson who married W. H. McGrady. Parents were William and Mary Majors Jackson who moved to Texas in late 1840s or early 1850s from Lauderdale Co. AL. Six Children. Will provide further info if you wish.

Thanks so much for the info. on TJ Jackson.
I didn't know that I was looking for wrong
first name. T.J. Jackson is my ggrandfather.
Margaret Emma, his daughter married my grand
father, Edward Kingsford Broaddus and had two
children by this marriage, Edward Kingsford
Broaddus jr and Leonard. E.K. jr was my dad.
I would appreciate more info on this family.
Do you know when T.J.Jackson and Eliza died
and where buried. Also do you know how to tie
this T.J.Jackson to President Jackson.
Thanks so much for your help. Ginger

Hi June,
On the Jasper County, Texas census for 1880, it shows that my gr grandfather and his parents were all three born in Alabama.
My gr grandfather's name is William K. Jackson and he was born about 1857-58. If this will work with what you have, please email me! Looking forward to hearing from you.

The Jacksons in my family came to TX from AL. William and Mary Jackson, the parents, were both born in South Carolina so I don't believe that will work with what you've told me of your line. Good luck!

This line _may_ be related to the Thomas Rivers Jackson line from AL that came to TX. If so, I have some information on Thomas and wife Mary MvGaffey, their 11 children and one line to the present (or close to it). McGaffeys are my specialty but I pick up on all related lines as well.
Email directly, please. judyb@pdq.net

Ginger, I have been looking for my gggrandfather, his name I have been told was Thomas Jackson, he married Eliza Jane? They had three children that I have heard about, John George( my ggrandfather) and Louis D. and James J. I have proof that Eliza was John Georges' mother but we can't verify the fathers' name. Does any of this information match any of yours? I would apperciate any help. I have been looking for a long time. I have alot of info on the Jackson form John G. forward.
Thanks,
Mary

Mary, I don't see a connection with my Thomas
Jackson. My ggrandfather, T.J. Jackson who
married Eliza Jane Hackworth only had one child
Margaret Emma.
Thanks for your reply. I hope you find a
connection with your Jackson.
