Grandma removed all traces of Grandpa,
Grandma's name was: Fern Hougendobler
Grandpa's was: Tenix (went by Leif) Williams
Grandpa worked as a bartender i believe and i know that they lived in Jerome,ID for a time. / kids names were Joan and Lorraine. I believe that my family is Idaho amish do know for a fact that i have Emery Hougendolers Bible given to him by my great grandma Anna. Lists their marriage date as: 23 Aug 1934 in Shoshone, Lincoln Co., ID. Fern is listed as HAUGENDOBLER. The 1920 Jerome area directory lists: Emry A. (wife Anna) Hougendobler - barber for H.M. Fulkman. no Tenix etc Williams. 1932-3 Jerome directory shows Emery A. (& Anna) barber for Fred Andrews. also 1932-3, a Lafayette Williams in Jerome, occupation laborer. 1936-7 Jerome directory shows: Hougendobler, Emery A. (Anna B.) barber for Lovell McClanahan. No matching Williams. 1941 Jerome directory, no Hougendobler or Williams. Sorry The directories don't cover the Shoshone area. Hope this helps. Judy

This was my grandfather I have never met. My mom Joan A Williams who was Tenix Lafayette Williams daughter passed away four years ago at 69 yrs old.
