According to Richard Gentry's "Gentry Family in America, 1676-1909" Belitha was born 19 Mar 1803 in KY. In all my other sources, not verified, they state he was born in Clay County KY , immigrating with his father to Chariton County in about 1825. Belithe later moved with his family to Grundy County.

I think this is your research problem ... Belitha is not a female, but is a male named Belith Gentry b Mar 19, 1803 Clay Co KY who married Martha Sandlin on Dec 18, 1827 Clay Co KY. Belith is a son of David Gentry and 'Jennie' McClure of Clay Co KY. Belith and his wife both moved and lived out there lives in Grundy Co MO and are buried in the George Peery plot, Grundy Co MO. Hope this info helps you or someone else who may be researching this family. I found this line because David Gentry was a bondsman for the marriage of Joseph Halsey and Martha HENSON May 10, 1810 Clay Co KY. I am a Henson researcher. My George W Henson moved from Laurel Co KY abt 1837 and settled in Livingston/Grundy Co MO before returning to Laurel Co KY abt 1845. If anyone reading this has any HENSON information, please let me know and share it with me. Thanks for listening. 'R.E.'
