I am an 8th generation American Lastinger, a direct descendant of immigrant John and his wife Anna Barbara. I have attended the family reunion in south Georgia often, and have extensive information on the family dating back to 1642 in Germany. I would love to hear from others in this family line.

I am also a descendant of the Lastinger family. My great Grandmother was Daisy lastinger & she married S.A. Peyton. Her father was PG Lastinger Sr., mother was Julia Lamon. I was not aware that the Lastinger's have had family reunions. Do you know when the next one will be? Thanks Jason

I am an 8th generation Lastinger, grand-daughter of Preston, son of Wyatte, son of Elisha, son of Andrew, son of John George, son of John, immigrant from Germany. Ever since I can remember, the Wyatte line have been holding annual reunions and attempting to complete the geneology of the Lastinger line in America (and in Germany back to the early 1600's.) The family meets in Meigs, Georgia each July, and as of this year's meeting has started compiling ancestral photos digitally for preservation.

Do you have any idea of PG's father's name or where he was born?

My name is Wayne Clifton and my paternal grandmother was Lula Lastinger, daughter of William G. Lastinger, son of William T. Lastinger, son of John George Lastinger. I have gotten most of my information from the Lastinger family book. Any further information you may have on William T. or William G. would be appreciated. Any info you need from me please ask.

I am sorry for not replying sooner. I thought I had an auto reply notice set, but I did not. PG Lastinger Sr. was born in Brooks County Georgia I belive. I know that is where he and his wife are buried. PG Lastinger Sr's father was Henry Andrew Lastinger. I would like to attend the Lastinger family reunion next year. Do you know who to contact.

My clan of Lastinger's also come from the Volusia County area of Fla. My Grandmother was a Lula Lastinger daughter of William G. Lastinger. I show a Jesse Lastinger in the family tree but the only info I show for him is a death in 1915. he was the son of Miles Lastinger. Don't know if he is the one.

My name is Homer F Willis and Marrina Lastinger Williams is my Great-Great grandmother. She was born in 1830 Florida but was back in Lowneds County Ga on the 1850 Census. She married Harrison Williams who was also living in Lowneds County on the 1850 Census. By 1860 they were living in Volusia County FL near Daytona Beach, FL My Great grandmothe was her last child and was born around 1862. The family moved to the Tampa/St Petersburg, FL. On the 1860 she shows her first name as Mary Williams. Harrison Williams was killed in the civil war. Marrinna Willims never remarried.

I will send you more information if you wish. Please respond direct homer1941@gmail.com

I am searching for a female Lastinger that worked at the Sugar Plant by Savannah GA. My grandfather, Joseph Miller, lived there for a short (1920s?) when he was young, because his parents had died. It is my understanding they were related. If you know anything, that would be great.
