I am in need of help in doing my Ghisletta genealogy. Can some find 2 people from Pattersonl.

I need the date of death for Anthony Ghisletta who was born June 18, 1910 in Patterson.

Also: date of death for a Margaret Beatrice Ghisletta who was born Jan. 7, 1925.

Neither one of these people are on the Calif. death index.

Carleen May Mahaffey, 83, of Patterson died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Mahaffey was a native and lifelong resident of Patterson. She was a homemaker and a seamstress for more than 50 years. She farmed with her husband, Jim for more than 45 years.
She was affiliated with the Federated Church in Patterson. She was a Director for the Rainbow Girls. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the California Women of Agriculture, the Del Puerto Hospital Auxiliary, the Patterson Garden Club, The Modesto Area A's Model A Club, the Areme Club and the Patterson Fire Department Auxiliary. She was an Apricot Fiesta Grand Marshall.
She is survived by her husband, James Mahaffey of Patterson; children, Mike Mahaffey of Patterson, Lynell Kirk of El Sobrante and Carol Bonneau of Stockton; brothers, Anthony Ghisletta, Miles Ghisletta, Leo Ghisletta and Ronnie Ghisletta, all of Patterson, and Stanley Ghisletta of Sacramento; sisters, Annalee Knoll of Crows Landing, Margarite Farrell of Modesto and Loreene Alves of Patterson; and six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Federated Church, Patterson. Burial will follow at Patterson District Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.
Remembrances may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, 95617 or to the Federated Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 1418, Patterson, 95363.

GHISLETTA - Near Turlock, May 30, 1952, Franklin Charles Ghisletta; loving son of Mrs. Mary Ghisletta of Patterson; beloved brother of Mrs. Carlene Mahaffey, Mrs. Margaret Farrell, Mrs. Lorenne Alves, Anthony, Miles and Leo Ghisletta of Patterson, Stanley Ghisletta of Sacramento, Ronald Ghisletta with the United States Army in Korea and Mrs. Annalea Dompe of Crows Landing. A native of Patterson, aged 32 years.
Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at Evans Funeral Chapel, Patterson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM tomorrow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Patterson. Father John B. Dermody officiating. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Patterson.

Passing of A. Ghisletta at Modesto Friday

Anton Ghisletta, pioneer Patterson Colony settler, passed away at a Modesto hospital Friday morning, failing to recover from an operation performed ten days previous.

A native of Switzerland, he was 66 years of age, and had resided here for 30 years past.

His is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Ghisletta, and ten children: Anthony of Patterson, Stanley of Crows Landing, Mrs. Carlene Mahaffey of Vallejo; Leo, Coxswain in the United States Navy, Franklin, corporal in the United States Army, and Mrs. Annalee Dompe, Miles, Margaret Lorenne, and Ronald of Patterson.

Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Church Monday morning with Rev. Manuel F. Rose in charge, followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Anthony R. Ghisletta married Edith Borelli. I need to know also his date of birth. Your right he is still alive but I don't know where he lives.

Margaret B. Farrell, 76, of Modesto died Sunday at Hy-Lond Convalescent Hospital.
Mrs. Farrell was a native of Patterson. She lived in Modesto five years. She previously lived in Southern California. She worked for Arden Farms in Patterson in her youth. She was a member of the Patterson Garden Club and the Patterson Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Service League of Doctors Medical Center for nine years.
She is survived by her brothers, Anthony Ghisletta, Leo Ghisletta, Ronald Ghisletta and Miles Ghisletta, all of Patterson, and Stanley Ghisletta of Sacramento; and sisters, Annalee Knoll of Crows Landing and Lorenne Alves of Patterson.
Inurnment service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Patterson Cemetery. No visitation. Allen Mortuary, Turlock, in charge of arrangements.

LEO GHISLETTA
July 5, 1918 - Dec. 3, 2002

Leo Ghisletta, 84, of Las Vegas died of natural causes Tuesday at Nathan Adelson Hospice West.
Mr. Ghisletta was a native and 83 year resident of Patterson. He lived in Las Vegas one year. He was a self-employed farmer and dairyman for 50 years. He was a 1936 graduate of Patterson High School. He belonged to Family Christian Center in Patterson.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II: he was a member of American Legion Post 168, Patterson.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Ghisletta of Las Vegas, daughter, Karen Baker of Las Vegas; brothers, Anthony Ghisletta, Miles Ghisletta and Ronnie Ghisletta, all of Patterson, and Stanley Ghisletta of Sacramento; sisters, Annalee Knoll of Crows Landing and Lorene Alves of Patterson; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Famly Christian Center, Patterson. Burial at Patterson District Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.
