I am looking for help in locating family and information about my great grandfather Robert (C A- possible middle initials) Falk. He was b.October 1850 and from Prussia and married Harriet Exley in 1882 in Dodge County Wisconsin. They had two daughters, Louise Falk and Mary Falk. I don't know when or where he died or any other family information. Don't know parents names or siblings, if there are any. Does anyone recognize these names? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, MJ

Thank you for your help. It sounds like my great aunt Louise was married to John Buhr/Puhr prior to her marriage to Courtland Gibbs. I wasn't aware of that.

Ginger- How and where can I look at newspapers from the Dodge County Pioneer? That's awesome! It would be a big help since both my maternal and paternal families settled in Dodge County.

I'm looking for parents names for Robert Falk, b. 1850.
Do you have any suggestions where I could look?

Thanks again, MJ

Thank you for sharing this with me. I see that the family lived in LaCrosse, Wisconsin in 1900, but my grandmother Mary Falk was left behind in Clyman as housekeeper for her grandfather William Waterhouse and uncles.

So, it looks like my g-aunt Louise married John and lived in LaCrosse with her parents. Does that sound about right from the information? Or maybe the census was taken before they got married in Clyman.

How did you locate the marriage record? I'd like to know how to do that. Thanks again, MJ
