John J.Zeman born Jan 1850. Settled in Walsh County, North Dakota. Had 9 to 14 children. I have no info on his wife.
Was there maybe a name change when he came to America?

In the Walsh County, ND Heritage Books, Volume 2, page 1059 there is an Article about the Clement Zeman family. They were born in Czechoslovokia, and immgrated to America, and settled in St. Louis, where their 4 children were born, John, Jake, Frances, and Clement. The article does not give the first name of the Zeman that immigrated. It does say that the Clement Zeman family ended up in Walsh County.

In this previous post, I made a mistake. John's son Ralph married Anne Keyes. (My Grandparents). They settled in Minto. The Hadland family was also in the same area.
