I have been searching for the death record of my relative Joseph Golling. I found out somewhere that he was shot in a dispute at 42. Holy cow! Anyone out there that might have a clue or was this a rumour????

He lived in Dodge, Wisconsin.

Did you ask for a copy of the 1861 newspaper article listed in the Dodge/Jefferson Counties Historical Society website? It says Pioneer Brewer (probably his death).

Well, now I feel stupid. lol

ETA- A lovely girl contacted me and is a researcher. She was brilliant. Quick as a wink, she found out the information I wanted. So, thank you Debbie!
