My great grandfather was James Albert Heaton b. March 22, 1871 in Chipawa Falls,WI. James was the son of David Heaton and Mary Doff (Wyndotte Indian) b. 1835 in Chipawa Falls,WI. James siblings were Joseph Heaton b.April 12, 1857 in Chipawa Falls,WI, Elizabeth Heaton b. October 10, 1864 in Illinois, Nathan Heaton b. 1872 in Chipawa Falls,WI, George Marion Heaton b.January 30, 1872 in Chipawa Falls,WI, William Charles Heaton b. January 17, 1878 on Oklahoma, Hettie Heaton b.September 07, 1880 in Oklahoma. They moved to Oklahoma sometime between 1872 and 1878. I am interested in finding out more about the Heaton's and Doff's In Chippawa Falls. If anyone has any information, I would gladly share my info on the Oklahoma years.
