The origins of my wife's McIntyre line in the Restigouche appears to be a James John McIntyre who married Félicité in Charlo, about 1835. Believe he was born about 1812, but no idea where. Not sure if or how that may link in with yours. Would like to go farther back - to an Irish source.

Thanks for info.

James John (John James) McIntyre is the highest level I have in my data. I have 11 children of his marriage to Marguerite Félicité Leblanc, their marriages and most of their descendants thru at least 1 generation.

What I am missing are the parents for either James or Félicité. If you can help, I would be most grateful. If not, then we are both in the same boat - looking for a line, so to speak.

My link is thru my wife. Her family descends from James & Carolie Aurélie Poirier, the second son of James & Félicité - and specifically their daughter Catherine McIntyre.

Although my wife & her family hail directly from Dalhousie/Charlo, we do not have Dalhousie cemetery data so anything you may have would be appreciated. In return, though I do not think it likely, if we may have anything of interest to you, I would be happy to share.

I am missing an Annie Robinson who was my Grandfather's sister and she was one of three sisters (all three are 'missing'), the other two being Sarah and Elizabeth. Their Father was called William Robinson but they came from Feglish in Co Tyrone and Annie was born in 1896 - don't suppose this could possibly be your Annie?

Ben

I would like your help in directing me or helping me find my Great Grand Mothers Family . I know that one Great Uncle Robert McIntyre was born in Portglenone per a Canadian Court issued Birth Certificate because he did not have one from Northern Ireland

William McIntyre –my Great Grandfather we believe his first name was William and he died prior to 1909 because the balance of his family immigrated to Montreal Canada. Family lore that he owned a pub but I do not feel it is true.

Annie McIntyre - nee Robinson My Great Grand Mother was born 1863 or around then .She immigrated to Montreal Canada 1907-1909.

She died in 1929 in Montreal Canada

William McIntyre – my Great Uncle (believe he is the oldest) we do not know anything about him. Family lore is he moved to Scotland and could have been in the Salvation Army .

Mary ( Margaret or Minnie ) - My Great Aunt was born about 1883 .She immigrated to Canada 1907-1909 and died 1919

Jennie McIntyre - my Grandmother was born Oct 4 1892.. She immigrated to Montreal Canada 1907-1909 and died 1957

Robert McNamee - my Great Uncle was born Mar 31 1888 .He is the one above with the Canada Court Birth Certificate . He immigrated to Montreal Canada 1907-1909 and died 1978 .

Elizabeth ( Lizzie ) - my Great Aunt was born 1897 .. She immigrated to Montreal Canada 1907-1909 .

Arthur McIntyre - my Great Uncle . We believe his name was Arthur and have no other information on him .

He immigrated to Montreal Canada 1907-1909

We belive that mt Grandmothers family were Presbyterian because that is the Church my Grand Mother took her children to in Canada ..

I do not have anymore information other that my mother always told us that my Grand Mother said she was born in County Antrim while my Great Uncle shows he was born in Portglenone .

Also Robert family lore was in the Orangemen’s Band .

.

If you could send me a Email with your Home Phone Number I would call you to discuss

Thank you very much

Yours Truly
