i'm trying to trace my family history. my grandmother is allean arnell and she was married to edward arnell. he is deceased now but my grandma still lives today in nashville, tn. they had 11 children which 9 of them live in nashville while one lives in flint, michigan and the other in texas. we were trying to find other arnell's to trace back our grandfather's history. at the present time we have no knowledge of any of his blood relatives, if he had any. so if anyone knows any information then contact me please.

I too am searching for my family history. I do know that Ed rnell, Sr. had a brother and probably went to Chicago. Don't forget to look for any information io Columbia, Tn.

T.H., i was wondering if you could tell me more about the his brother who moved to chicago. i knew we had some relatives in columbia cause that is where we have our family reunions. could you also tell me how you knew edward arnell sr. like i stated before we dont know anything about his family and any information would be greatly appreciated. did you also know his wife allean arnell?

I just know that he had a brother that supposedly moved to chicago. Ed, jr. mother is Carlene. You should try looking for some Arnells in Columbia because from my knowledge, there are some, plenty down there. You know about Howard, and Connie and Ellen and Eddie? I will check but I think Eddie was brought down here from chicago and if so, all we have to do is fill in the missing link. I'll keep trying to search for more information and keep you posted. Please let me know if you find anything else.

yes i know all the names you mentioned. connie, eddie, and howard. they would come to our family reunions in columbia. eddie was killed two years ago in a car wreck. i know all of those people. so apparently all we have to do now is find Ed's brother to fill in the gaps. thanks for your help. you've probably told me this all ready but how did you know ed and are you related to us as well?

The Sterling Leroy Arnel that I referred to in my earlier message lived in Lincoln, CA with his son Roy E. before his son died as a result of an automobile accident. After the death of his son he moved back to Missouri and lived in a nursing home until his death in 1982. Roy E. had a daughter named Joyce and a son name unknown to me at this time. The daughter is presently on the police force in Stockton, CA. Roy E. could have been married before but I'm not presently aware of any previous marriages or children of any prior marriages.
