My grandfather's name was Osee Cantara. He was one of 13 children. Married to Ethel Hunt, he died in R.I. in the 60's. I remember a couple of his brothers, Euclid and Leopold. Anyone with info on their parents would help me a great deal. my grandfather worked for the state in the roads dept. we lived in Narragansett.

Hi Lynane and Karen
Have some info on CANTARA's in Yamaska region. I am currently working on St. Michel D'Yamaska parish records and have GEDCOM'ed everyone in this parish from 1727-1829. I do have some records from St. Pie-de-Guire and will look to see which CANTARA's are born around 1870's time period to see if they may have been born there. Will let you'all know later this week.

Hi, I am searching for a Rose Bouley. She would have been my grandfather George's sister. She would have been born I believe in NH about 1909. Her full name may have been Rose Eva Bouley. She lived in Lamoille County Vermont for sure about 1920. Is this any relation to your Rose Bouley? (My grandfather changed the "ey" to "ay" in New Hampshire about 1915-but believe the rest of family kept the "ey".
