I am searching for information on Altha Rosetta Crowfoot who is my great, great grandmother. She was born in Prairie Depot, Wood County, Ohio, in 1859. I know that her father's name was John and she married Frederick Zettle in 1877, in Bowling Green, Ohio. I would like more information on these people and especially if the Crowfoot family were Native American.

Thanks for your reply Ill send you what I have as soon as posable. And yes
were most likely related. IM thinking your ggrandmother is my gggrandfather's
niece. I'll have to look into this somemore, though. There is a pic of
Thomas Crawfoot at Bowling Green State U. As far as Native American I
haven't found any cases yet. Though Praire Depot (Wayne) had many Indians
living there when my father was a child. The Crawfoot Crowfoot name has been
interchanged many times. My father's uncle died WW 1 and his name is listed
as Carl Crowfoot on the Memorial at Bowling Green, Ohio. I have found the
Crawfoot name dating from the Revolution War in the U. S. Got to go to work,
I'll write more later.
