Good Morning Pam,
I've never met a Dayberry I wasn't related to. Welcome to the family. I have been researching for five years and have quite a bit of info. My branch of the Dayberry's came from Rutherford Co., NC then to Kentucky. I know there are Dayberry's in many states. I've traced back to George William Dayberry b. 1820 - 1913 NC. Matter of fact, we're planning a big Dayberry Get-together this Sept. 30 for anyone interested in Casar, NC. I'd love to hear from you and learn more about where your Dayberry's are from.I have two brothers that live in Texas and a brother who lives in Arkansas., and I live in Indiana. Well, enough for now. Look forward to hearing from you.

Good Morning John,
I was so glad to hear from you. My Grandfather John Ira Dayberry was born in Muldrow,Oklahoma he worked for the railroad and fought in World War II. He was married twice his first wife died when she was very young and left him with two daughters to raise. He met my Grandmother and they were married soon afterward. They had 5 more children after they were married. My mother was the oldest of these 5 children. Both of my aunts died when they were very young. Aunt Letha died of Lupus and My Aunt Ruby drowned. These were the two girls from Granpa's first marriage. My Uncle was killed in a tragic car accident when he was 34 years old. I have an Uncle John Henry and he has two boys. John and Thomas Dayberry. I also have 2 aunts left and then my mom and her children. There are 6 of us. My Aunt is currently studying our geneology and she has more information they live in North west Arkansas. I will be seeing her tomorrow my cousin Justin Todd Dayberry passed away and the funeral is tomorrow in Prairie Grove Arkansas, she will be thrilled that I heard from you. I guess I better go for now, but we would love to have more information on the Dayberry reunion.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Love,
Pam

Richard, Sorry it's taken so long to respond to you. I am very interested in learning about your branch of the Dayberry's. My branch is traced back to George W. Dayberry in Rutherford Co. N.C. in 1820. His son, John Oliver moved to KY. after the Civil War and his family remained there until about 1950's. Please contact me directly. I have some data on the Ok./Ark Branch, Tenn Branch, VA. branch and CA./TX Branch of Dayberry's. Look for ward to hearing from you.

John I am researching my Dayberry family and I was wondering if you were connected in any way. My Grandfather was Henry Victor Dayberry b 8AUG1900 d 12AUG1929 married Ola Bell Brunk b 2AUG1910 d 5JAN1991. Henry's father was Andrew Jackson John Henry Dayberry b abt 1869 d 11AUG1896 married Lillie May Pense b abt 1879 d 1937. I was hoping u might have some information on them. I am kind of at a stand still. In the archives it says that at the time of Andrew Dayberry they spelled it Derryberry, but changed it with all their children to Dayberry. Thanks in advance for any help.

John, I'm Michael Dayberry my brother Richard passed away Oct. 2002. So I'm starting where he left off. I am interested on any info you have on the Dayberry's. We are looking for info on Andrew Jackson John Henry Dayberry born about 1869. On my grandfathers death certificate Henry Victor Dayberry he is listed as John Dayberry born in Texas. His wife is listed as well. Lillie Pense born 1879 Arkansas. His children's names are Minnie, Henry Victor, Vinnie, William Joseph, John R., Hester Yvonne, and Lavina Bell Pence. Lavina Bell Pence was born 12/14/1913 in Sequoyah, Oklahoma. Died in Mesa, Arizona 07/15/1956. Looking for his parents names. Hit a wall with this one. I know about the change of the last name. Have not been able to find a match. Maybe you can help.

Michael

Good to hear from you Michael. I can't help you in Ok. Have you talked with PamSam97@aol.com (Pam Wood)? Pam and her aunt are also tracing Dayberry's in OK, maybe you'll get lucky there. I'll try to follow the message boards.
