I am researching for my husband. His mothers name is Charlene Domino, his grandfather is Emmanuel Domino married to Marie Ann. I believe they originated from Sicily but not sure. If anyone has any information that might help me with his family tree please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

hi, we may not have the same domino family, but mine are from New Orleans, Louisiana. John Domino, who's brother happens to be Antoine "Fats" Domino, is my gr grandfather. onto his mother Justine Arment-Domino, father, John Domino Sr. I am african-american. but my family is creole, and a lot of them have french names that we don't know how to spell.
thank you GOOD LUCK!!!

I am researching my wife's family history, and it is said that they, (Myre) are related to Fats Domino's clan in Louisiana. I am hoping that someone out there can shed some light on his family lineage. They live in New Orleans, La as do I and my wife. I would appreciate any information that you might have.

Hello, just browsing and stumbled on this site. I see where you responded to my daughters message. The Domino family is a large family, My grandfather was Ova Domino. He had several brothers and sisters. I'll name a few, they all have French names so my spelling may not be correct. Philomene Domino, Antoine "Fats" Domino,Jacqo Domino, Teneg Domino,Tenen Domino,Aristotle Domino, I don't know uncle King's real name because we just called him King. But, my Great-Grandfather Ova and his wife Justine Armoux(Spelling may be wrong) had one child John Domino who is married to Rosemary Gleason. Those are my Grandparents. They had five kids Jeffery,Justina,Ronald,Ova"Ducky" and Robert. Jeffery is my Father. We have a wonderful French and creole background and I'm trying my best to find out as much as possible before the remaining few that are living pass on. Hope to hear from you and your wife soon. Linda

Well, sorry that it's taken me so long to get back to you..I'm working on 14 other lines as well, including my wife's. Her father's name was Roosevelt Myre, and his parents names were Louis & Theresa Domino Myre..Theresa had a brother, John..and they were from somewhere in St. James Parish, Louisiana. I am still trying to find information about them...the plantation that Fats Domino was born on was Laura Plantation, located in Vacherie, Louisiana, which is in St. James Parish. Roosevelt died in 1958, and his obituary makes verbal mention of these two Dominos. Please look in your research and see what you find.
