Looking for others researching the Heinrich Anna Gertrude Lampe Fehring family. They were from the Hanover Germany area and migrated to Iowa about the 1860's. They had the following children: Henry, Paul, Louis, Anthony, Joseph, Mary (Auffert), Kate (Assenmacher), Alice (Borman). The children eventually migrated to OK and MO. I have someone in my family who married a Auffert. Her name is Violet Wagner Auffert. Anyway, I was going through some papers I have and I came across a Administrators Deed of the estate of John G. Auffert to Mary E. Auffert; dated 25 Jan 1906. Then I have a Warranty Deed dated 22 Oct 1917, Mary E. Rubble (formerly Mary E. Auffert), a single woman sold property to Ira Wagner for $1.00.
I have a Warrenty Deed from H. C. Carpenter to John G. Auffert, dated 14 March 1901. The Carpenter from Custer Co.,Oklahoma and Auffert in Missouri. Last, I have a Trust Deed from Ira Wagner to Mary E. Rubble, dated 27 Nov 1917 in Mo. Don't know if this helps but let me know. Ksren Kburdett@ipa.net

Sorry it took me so long to answer. I don't think this is my Mary Auffert. She married a Clem Auffert and they are buried in the Catholic Cemetary in Monett, MO. These may be a relative of Clem's but I don't know enough about that family to know for sure. Thanks for the information though as this is one branch of my family that has been very hard to track. Dear Cindy: My great-grandmother was Mary Borman, who was the daughter of Alice (Fehring) and Mathew Borman. I would love to learn more information about the Fehring family. I just started investigating the Bormans and the Fehrings at the request of my grandmother. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. By the way, my family is from Missouri.

I have just basic information on the family--names and dates mostly. Do you have a complete list of the children of Alice and her husband? Did you see the photo on the Jackson Co IA genweb site? Can you identify some of them for me? I have found out about Mary Catherine Fehring Auffert and her family but that is the only research I have done lately on the Fehring family. Have you found any additional stuff on Heinrich and Anna Gertrude Fehring?
