Perry County, TN Lineberrys
I am looking for any information on the Lineberrys from Middle Tennessee. My grandfather's family were from there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
My ggrandmother's name was Fannie Paralee Lineberry Wheat born 1/1868, married to Laney Wesley Wheat, her parents were John and Adline Lineberry buried in Mt Auburn/Culp cemetery,no dates on homemade stones. I think she had brother,Isaac and sister Molly? Do we have a connection? Donna
Donna, we are directly related. My grandmother (Winnie Wheat)was a Lineberry. My Great Aunt Grace gave my mother some documentation of the Lineberry's geneology. I saw Fannie Paralee's birth and death records and her siblings records just today. (Family visit over Labor Day weekend) I'll post more details when I get it from my mother. My grandmother was buried in Howell cemetery.
Great, I look forward to hearing from you. If you would rather e-mail me, my address is email@example.com
My Lineberry Lineage
furnished by Dewey Lineberry to Unknown
As documented by Daryl D. Wheat - born 08/17/1964
Jacob (Sr.) Lineberry (4Gr. Grandfather) and his wife and two sons Jacob (Jr.) and William (3Gr. Grandfather) came from Germany in 1780 and settled in North Caronlina. Jacob settled in Chatham County NC. William settled in Randolph County NC. JacobÂ’s (Jr.) lineage migrated to Indiana near Marion, Indiana. All were farmers.
William had two sons Tobe and Henry (2 Gr. Grandfater) . Both brothers married Wheelus Sisters. Henry married Winnie Wheelus. The brothers settled in TN near Flatwoods. TobeÂ’s sonÂ’s were: Pete, Tom (Bug or Bugger), Sam and Wheeler Lineberry.
Henry, son of William / brother of Tobe, is were my Tennessee based Lineberry geneology begins.
Henry and Winnie (Wheelus) Lineberry (2Gr. Grandmother) Children:

Wheat had remarried Tabitha after HannahÂ’s death.
Could you give us a taste of what you saw on the Lineberry Family Tree. I have family all over Middle TN and would like to learn more about them. My grandfather's father's name was James Tobas(Tobias) Lineberry, m: Mahalia Whitehead. Any info you have would be of interest to me.
Anybody with information on Lineberry's
living in Clifton, TN. Please reply.
Monica, Check familysearch.com. I'll notify you if I find anything else.
Daryl, It is my understanding that William settled in Chatham County and Jacob,Jr. settled in Randolph County. I am descended from Jacob in Randolph County.
Jacob married Mary Catherine Youngblood, who had a son named Sameul (b. May 1, 1789), who married Jane Bond (b. June 8, 1792 - d. 1884) in December 1809. Samuel and Jane had a daughter Ardella (b. 1 Dec. 1837 - D. 24 Dec.1883)who married James N. Caudle (b. 7 Feb.1832 - 2 Dec 1918) on May 24, 1854 in Randolph County, NC. They had a son Eli Fletcher Caudle (b. 12 October 1874 - d. 20 October, 1960) who married Hattie L. Kirkman (b. 13 Nov. 1874 - 7 September 1930) on 8 Aug 1895 in Randleman, NC. They had a son James Fletcher Caudle (b. 21 Dec 1898 - d. 13 Dec 1970) who married Blanche Woodard on 17 September 1921 in Greensboro, NC. They had a daughter Betty Ann Caudle (b. 24 July 1926 - d. 20 October 1996) who married Robert Carl Horney (b. 26 Sept. 1923 - 8 April 1973) on 17 Sept 1947. They had a Son Stanley Phillip Horney (b. 17 February 1954). I have lots of info on this family since it is my line. Samuel and Jane Lineberry had 10 children of whom 4 became Methodist Ministers.
