I am looking for a different line of Menaughs than what I find on this website. The eariest info I have is of a William R. Menaugh, born in 1815 (I am trying to find out where). He married Susan Cochran in 1838. They had 9 children:

Lydia Ellen Menaugh
Jonathan Cochran Menaugh
Samuel Wilson Menaugh
Dyer Burgess Menaugh
Infant
John Free Menaugh
Sarah Amanda Menaugh
Elizabeth Eva Menaugh (my great-great Grandmother)

All children seem to be born in Brown County, Ohio and then scattered from there. Elizabeth married Aylmer Osili Harvey in Tippecanoe Cty IN in 1876.

William's father was Robert Menaugh and mother was, I think Esther Redding. Robert was the brother of my great great great great grandfather. I believe William eventually moved to Indiana.

Sorry, I ment that his mother was Esther Reddick.
