I'm be happy to share what I know about the Seibold/Seybold clan. Our American branch dates to about 1829, with the arrival of Michael Adam Seibold in Baltimore from Rommelhausen (near Stuttgart). That area appears to be the hot-bed of the clan, Fellbach in particular. Ypu're welcome to contact me.

My Grandmother was Anna Seibold who married Francis Fette
April 26, 1892, Sacred Heart Church Indianapolis, IN. Her
wittness was Ida Seibold her sister. Her father was John
Seibold, and another sister was Bertha. I don't have much else
on the Seibold line and any help will be appreciated.

The only John Seibold among our records is the son of Michael Adam Seibold and his second wife, Louisa Ann Dorthea Miller. They were married in Baltimore in 1844. Their 6th child was John Seibold, born in 1857 in Baltimore (as were all the children). Unfortunately we haven't been able to pick up his trail. Just for the record, Michael Adam Seibold was my g2 grandfather. By his first wife, Dorothea Erek (who died in 1843), he had twin sons. One of them, Louis Philip Seibold, is my great-grandfather who resided in DC. Of their five children, the next to youngest was my grandfather and namesake. He was the black sheep who left DC in about 1899 to come to, of all places, Chicago! (We suspect that he made the move at the suggestion of his older brother and journalist, Louis P. Seibold, Jr. He and my father both practiced patent law here. I am one of only four Seibolds listed in the Chgo directory, but no of no relationship to them. There is a Michael Seibold, who pronounces the name See-bold (we say Sy-bold), and resides near St. Charles (western suburbs) is related through Michael Adam.

It looks close. I do not have his birthdate so I can not tell for sure.
His daughter, my grandmother's birthdate was Jan 25, 1871. He would have
been a very young father. I would like to hear more about the Seibold's and
where they came from.

Sorry for the belated response. Our records show a Baltimore birthdate for John of 1857. Think he'd be too young to have sired your grandmother. John was the 6th child of Michael Adam Seybold/Seibold and Louisa Ann Dorothy Miller. The first, William Frederick was born in 1844. The ninth and last, Virginia Lee, was born in 1863.
