We have been trying to piece together the family tree of the South African branch of the family. Adam Shrosbree originally from England came to this country in +/- 1875 and the SA clan was begun. Don't dispair you're not alone you have a link in deepest darkest Africa.

Hi, Wondering if you have come across a Richard E Shrosbree wife Martha one known child Sarah who married Thomas NuNN in Shoreditch, London, UK in 1868. Sarah and Thomas arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1868 as assisted immigrants.

That is weird to me because I live in Chicago and there are more "african americans" in my office than whites.

Now I can tell them I am the only person in the office who can name family members in Africa. (except John, (white) whose parents were missionaries in Zimbabwe and are still there.

I don't think any of my coworkers can even name any country in Africa. Sarah Palin thought Africa was a country. Than shows the sorry state of education in the US.

THERE ARE DEFFENATLY ROOTS IN SOUTH AFRICA, I JUST THUOGHT WE WRER THE THE ONLY SHROSBREE'S HERE. WE ARE SCATTERED ALL OVER SA-FROM CAPETOWN TO PRETORIA.
