I am looking for the family of Eliza Tibbens who married Jacob Boop in Union County, PA in 1847. Just wondering if my Eliza could be related to your Sara Tibbens?

In response to your William Williams. My Great Great Grandfather was William W. Williams born around 1832 and I believe he was born in Bertie County, North Carolina. He married Jane Askew (Mary Jane Askew) 15 March 1852. Their children were:
NAME DOB
James D. Williams 1855
Maria F. Williams 1865
William W. Williams 1869
Jesse E. Williams 1872
James W. Williams 1875 (My Grandfather)

Looks like same name, same approximate birth date, but different parts of the US.

I have a lot of Wynn relatives that are married to Askew. They also lived in Bertie Co. N.Carolina. The first connection that i have found was in 1874 when my great grandfather was born to Emily Jane Wynn Williams. My Emily's parents were Daniel Outlaw Wynn and Arminta Causey/Casey. Daniel's father was Daniel Van Pelt WYNNS/Wynn (abt 1780 to 1840). David Van Pelt Wynn was married to Mary Askew (no d.o.b. or d.o.d. on her).I have David Askew (no other info)as Mary's father and Milicent Outlaw as her mother I have had my trouble in finding Emily Wynn's husband ...Unk. Williams. Just wondering if we connect somewhere? If you think so I will share whatever will help you.
Good Luck,
Donna Carter

I am researching my 6th great Grandmother whose maiden surname is Williams. She married Peter Titus and they raised their family in the Pennsylvania area you mention in your post. The Frankstown, Hollidaysburg, Carlisle area. This was back in the 1700s from about 1740s to 1790s when Peter and Mary died. The children moved on to western Pennsylvania after their death. Any help would be appreciated.
