I have some info on Henry Lee. I am looking for more info as well. Maybe we can compare notes.

I have one relative who says Henry Lee was not Levi. That relative says Levi was Henry Lee's father. I have no idea which is correct.

MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS HENRY LEE (LEVI) MEDLIN. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANYTHING YOU HAVE ON HIS FAMILY. I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANYTHING ON HIS PARENTS OR SIBLINGS. I HAVE FOUND SOME RECORDS SAYING HE WAS BORN IN 1841 AND SOME SAYING 1845. I FOUND A NEW YORK PASSENGER LIST WITH A HENRY MEDLIN WHO CAME OVER FROM IRELAND IN 1856. HE COULD HAVE BEEN HENRY LEE'S FATHER BUT I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. I ALSO FOUND A LEVI MEDLIN IN THE 1850 NORTH CAROLINA CENSUS. HE WAS FIVE YEARS OLD AT THE TIME. I CAN'T CONNECT ANY OF THESE RECORDS DIRECTLY TO HENRY LEE THOUGH. CAN YOU HELP? THANKS, BEVERLY MEDLIN MANGRUM
