Hi: No, I've been stuck at Edward for some time. My line is also Edward, John, Joseph but then I go Wilson, Samuel, David and Lyal (my father). Have you been to the "Neville Heritage Society" site? They are the same line but are also stuck at Edward.
Good Luck

Hi Marley, My ancester, Wilson Neville, son of Joseph Neville, was born Aug 15, 1816 in Diamond Township, Ohio, wrote a letterin 1821 which is in my possession describing all of his family as he knew it at that time. He talks about a sister ""Rachel married to Henry Wallex, she had a boy to George Down by chance which was adopted to Elisabeth Markly and since married to Wallex and has 7 children." The Elisabeth Markly who adopted her son was another sister. It is possible that Henry Wallex died and Rachel married Williams. Wilson moved to Iowa in 1853 settling on a farm 3 miles east of Independence. In 1876 they went to Cherokee County, Iowa. It sounds like this might be the same Rachel but will take a little more research to see if she was married to Henryh Wallex as Wilson states in his letter.
Good Luck

I was interested in your John Neville. I have a John Neville born1826 in Maryland and I can find nothing going back further. He married Annie Burns born 1833 Ireland. You said in your post that John married Sara Richardson and had a son John so that is the son I was wondering if we connected? Some of the other first names are in my family Mary, Hannah, etc. My Neville settled in Philadelphia, Pa. and lived there all their lives. Mary
