I have long been trying to trace my Cherokee ancestry through Mary Emily Paris Stewart wife of Thomas Jackson Stewart. I believe she descenda From George who had a colonial trading post in Augusta co va. Marride a Cherokee and moved to NC. She would be a granddughter.

I am searching for the parents of Henry Parris and Talitha Morgan. I was glad to read your query, since it was a while back
have you found more info? I come from their
daughter, Elender, who married Henry Cobb
all of Greenville. Do you know if Talitha is
related to the Samuel Morgan, Sr. who was in the area and was her age, and named his daughter Talitha. Also, I was told that Henry
was a jr; and was probably of Henry,sr.
of Orange Co. NC
