Hello, Im a Specht decendant from Charles Speicht and Alice Agusta was his sister.Only information I have is his second wife was a widow with a small daughter. They had four children Annie, Charles, Herbert, and Agusta(Gussie). His Third wife was Cynthia Jane Hermeon Cook. she also a widow. They had three Children Cynthia Abbie, Della and Orrie William.
Augusta married John Hutchinson, they had eight daughters and four sons. Hope this helps in some way.
The Specht name was changed some years ago to Speichts.

Hello,
I wish I could help you with information on your Query but I cannot. However, I am greatly interested in where you found information that Christopher Anthony Specht's 2nd wife had the Weddleton surname. My Great-grandfather (William Marchbank Specht) was Christopher's brother. I have quite a bit of info on Christopher and Cynthia Hemeon Cook and 8 of their children but I have no name for his 2nd wife ( 4 children - Annie, Charles, Herbert & Gussie).
The reason for my interest in the Weddleton connection is that my mother's maiden name was Weddleton. Her Father came from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia - born 1875. I have never seen the 2 names connected before and I would be interested in where that comes from - then I might be able to tie it in with the Weddleton ancestors I have been able to find.
Thanks for any connection you may have.
