I find this is the name married: LANTIA or LANTA to Wiston - Weston - Winston Patterson.

So I am trying to figure out is it a Nick-Name, short for ??? Atlantia or is it a Native American name?

They lived in North Carolina in the late 1800's. Feel free to check my tree (Short-Ward) for all the info I have been able to figure out.

Without a marriage bond, which is probably in Georgia; I'd say it is short for Atlanta. She was born in Ga and 2 census records clearly say she was white.
