Ok Gang,
Let get something going here with our 'way
back' folk? My great/great/grandfather was
James Jackman(1802-1871)in Dittsiham, Devon,
England, born of William and Elizabeth Jackman.
This is the oldest tracings of OUR Jackmans
that my brother Raphiel-Edward can find. HELP.
Great-grams married Margaret Wiggins (1802-1871).
in Irland.
Our brothers four, are in the U.S.of A. and
Canada, east/west - 2 each, respective.
Let get going, the clock is ticking!

Peter my GGGGrand parents were William Jackman and Elizabeth Wills of Dittisham Devon. If you write me at edmundsk@tpgi.co.au I will send you a copy of my Jackmans. I found a James Jackman in the IGI married to an Emalyn Clarke so maybe I've made a mistake .
I hope your clock hasn't stopped ticking yet.

Have been tracing back through my father's ancestors and found a common link via his father's line. William Jackman [father John m Ann Parnell 1798]who married Sarah Morrish 1822. Would be interested to know if anyone can trace this line back further. Cheers, Dee
