tracing SUTMULLER/ SUTMOLLER

I am trying to trace information on my great grandmother Jacobina Therodora Sutmuller b.abt 1863 Holland and my great grandfather.
Jacobina married a dutchman who changed his name to John Jacob Jackson (born abt 1858-9) when the family immigrated to England abt 1884-1886.
John lived in The Hague where he was a fencing master. He also lived in Gouda. We do not know his dutch name. On his UK death certificate it notes that he was born in Utrecht, Holland.
Jacobina and John had a child Johanna Maria born in Holland DOB 01.01.1884.
Would it be a possibility to trace a fencing master without a name, using John's age only and the fact that he lived in The Hague?
Are there any immigration records in Holland for that time period that are accessible online.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Lyn

The given url by janteam is invalid, it was only valid for him. Her surname is Sutmüller with a " on the second u.
I downloaded the record. See attachment.
You need a visitor to the city archive in The Hague. They have the bevolkingsregister, a census like register that is kept uptodate, with all the inhabitants. He might have lived on the same address.

Hi Jan
Thank you so much for your assistance,I was so excited to see the attachment and see familiar names.
I live in Australia so I will have to source a dutch translator to decipher the words for me.
I do not know any one in Holland, so it may have to be a
lifetime ambition to visit The Hague Archives. I might even have some distant relatives I haven't met.
Thank you so much for your help.
Kind regards
Lyn

Lyn,

I made a translation of the birth record. Do you have an email address available where I can send it?
An attachment in text format is not allowed, so I made a jpg of it.
I also corrected my first message, the umlaut is on the second u.
A dutch person made indexes on the bridesnames in The Hague and she is not there in the period 1883-1892. See http://www.famvandevelde.nl/bronnen.html in dutch and english

Hi Jan
I cannot thank you enough for your help. I am so thrilled to have this new information and getting closer to finding out what my dutch surname would have been, had my great grandfather not changed it when he moved to England.
I grew up with "Jackson" but I have always wondered what our real dutch family surname would have been.
My email address is lynt@exemail.com.au
Thankyou thankyou so much
Lyn

In The Hague I found a Petrus Joseph Sutmuller who had a daughter Jacoba Theodora

http://denhaag.digitalestamboom.nl/(f1tzrd450vhloh550emcsg45...

He was born in Zutphen so I thought maybe he had a sister who came also to The Hague and , his mothers name is Maria Johanna .Although I'm not sure yet I think I found your Jacoba Theodora

Taking a look at the Zutphen data shows me 2 possible daugthers, the 1 of 07-11-1859 named Catharina Theodora Jacoba, and also a Jacoba Theodora Aleida, born 30-11-1862 and registerd 2-12-1862, record # 389. See

Their parents had at least 12 childern. 1 died in Zutphen and the rest of the family moved on 03-11-1872 to Stele in Pruissen (Germany), see
