June 1, 1829 Nathan Bryan, Senior. to Elizabeth Bryant and her four children, viz: Zipporah Bryant, Turner Bryant, Sarah Bryant, Morgan Bryant;
101 & 1/4 acres in formerly Monroe, now Pike Co., Ga.
being 1/2 of Lot No. 205 in the 2nd Dist;
If Elizabeth Bryant should be legally authorized to marry and should do so, her interest in said property shall revert to her four children.
[Note: Elizabeth Perkins and Elias Bryan, son of Nathan Bryan, Sr. of Pike Co., Ga. were married in Wilkes Co., Ga. in 1812. They were divorced by the Ga. State Legislature in 1830 and this deed was from Nathan Bryan to his X Daughter-in-law to provide a home for his grandchildren, the children of his son, Elias Bryan.][ Please notice that one of the children, Zipporah was named for Nathan Bryan, Sr.'s Mother, Zipporah who was married to his father, Jesse Bryan, both their wills are filed in Martin Co., N.C.]

I am looking for the family of my Joseph Carington, b. 1800 NC (one census says KY), who married Mary (Polly)
Perkins in St. Clair Co., AL, 1821, and moved to Jefferson Co., AL where they raised their family. She was born in
GA, ca. 1805, and I see lots of Perkins and Carringtons together in Wilkes Co., GA, early 1800's.
