My husband's gggggggggrandfather was William Bobbitt, Jr, born in 1675 at Charles City, VA, Bristol Parish. His father was William Bobbitt, Sr bor 1645 in Glamorganshire, Wales. William Sr died in 1703 at Charles City, VA. Would that be the same William Bobbitt? I am trying to identify his wife's name. One source gives it as Anna Whittington and another source shows Anna Sturdivant. She was born in 1645 in Wales and died in 1740 at Prince George, VA. If that is the right William Bobbitt, I would appreciate any information regarding both Williams and Mrs. Sr. Thank you.

Married 1740 Bedford County, Virginia.

I have been looking over the Bobbitt web sites and would like to find out moore about the Family Crest, also I know my Great Grandfather was George Lewis Bobbitt born mar.29,1891 in ILL and that my Granfather is James (Jim) Bobbitt born in 1917 my fater is Richard and I am James and I woul like to go further back with Illinois Bobbitts any help would be appreciated.
