Would like to know more about Isaac Baker, Sr. I have him in Anson County, NC . Born in 1804. Maybe it is the same family but a generation apart. I am searching for William Baker, Michael Baker, Isaac Baker all of Anson County, NC. Do you think that they could possibly be connected? Would like to hear from you. Thanks

Thanks, I left Va in the 80's and now live in Wilmington
N.C.
The 1890 Census was destroyed in a fire. My grandfather
was the youngest of the children. They are Joseph,Lucy,
Betsy,Caarles & George. Dr Bakers wife Susan Davis Baker
died in 1889.
Dr John Bakers Death is listed in American medical Assoc. 1899. From this I found much shocking info. he went to trial
in 1890 for the murder of wife sue & in a retrial was acquitted. Thats why I never new the rest. George ran awawy
at about 15 stayed gone till early 1900's .
George Baker 1881-1899 married Ora W Baker My father Frank PPreston B. Me Frank Jr. My so Frank 3rd Charles, 2 grandsons Frank 4th & Carter.
My Grandmother never told me anything about Joe & Charles other than they took there share & left. Betsy & Lucy stayed in Abingdon & as far as I know never married. I have
some of the history of family from Isaac Baker 1726 to 1793
& history of Bakers Chapel which still stands on property in Abingdon
thanks Frank Baker captbearbaker@aol.com
