My great-great grandfather was Abraham Post, born 1816 Cayuga County NY who married Polly Spicer in 1836 and moved to MI in 1855. His parents were William and Rachel Post. All I have is the names William and Rachel. (There seems to have been a lot of Posts in 18th century NY!)

Do you have the names of the 16 children alluded to in your message? Is one of them Polly Post b. 23 Mar 1799?

Your Molly Post may be a relative but not a daughter as
Ruth Post married James Baker and all of the children would be named Baker. However she could be a mother or sister to Ruth, or even a cousin. I just haven't had the time to sit down and try to put any more of this together. Thanks for your interest and best wishes from Houston, Texas
