Stafford Street is now called Wolfe Tone Street and runs between Abbey Street and Parnell Street, alongside Wolfe Tone Park, parallel to Capel Street and between Jervis lane and Jervis Street.
Hope that helps.

Wolfe Tone Street was formerly Stafford Street after the Earl of Stafford - William Wentworth, but is now named after the patriot Theobald Wolfe Tone (1763-1798) who lived at No.44 as a child. The park alongside was originally the churchyard of St Mary's Church by Sir William Robinson. An architectural competition was held in 1998 to redevelop the space as a public plaza.

Hi I have a 1850 street directory for Dublin, it details the building numbers 1 to 53, it gives names and trade of occupiers. Do you know what surname you are looking for.
