Ancestor Joseph Hill was born ca1782 in NC & per his 1858 obit in Georgia Baptist newspaper he was baptized at age 23>ca1805 by John Koonce at Chinquapin Chapel Baptist Church [Jones co]. Would like to correspond with anyone who might have possible info on him, his siblings, parents or descendants or simply have some knowledge of Hill families in Jones or surrounding counties.
Any response will be most appreciated!
Thank You in advance,

Chinquapin Chapel Baptist Church is located at 1561 Chinquapin Chapel Road, Trenton NC. They may have more information on the Hill family? Have you checked the book Abstracts of Jones County, NC by Zae Hargett Gwynn? Several mentions of a Joseph Hill. One Joseph died in 1810. Did you check the 1800 & 1810 Jones county census?

Yes, I've checked the area censuses & I was left uncertain. Been awhile & dont recall details offhand. Now I see on sampubco website 2 will listings for a joseph hill. In Book A & B which overlap during 1805-1812 period. Thus probably one will & it would fit the 1810 joseph hill death u mention. How might I obtain a copy of that will?
